About the Role

Brophy Air is seeking an experienced and dependable Chiller Technician to join our growing team in Miami, FL. We are looking for a skilled HVAC professional with strong experience servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial and industrial mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with chillers, boilers, cooling towers, water pumps, VFDs, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial chillers 
• Service boilers, cooling towers, pumps, and VFD systems 
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls 
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical HVAC system issues 
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals 
• Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate findings with customers and management 
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with local codes and company standards 
• Provide excellent customer service while working on-site at client locations

Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience working on commercial/industrial HVAC systems 
• Strong knowledge of: 
  • Chillers 
  • Boilers 
  • Cooling towers 
  • Water pumps 
  • VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) 
  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting 
• EPA Certification required 
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record required 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills 
• Must be reliable, professional, and safety-focused
