Commercial HVAC Estimator

Seeking a Commercial HVAC Estimator for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Nashville, TN.

Salary is between $80,000 - $115,000

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed project estimates for HVAC construction projects
• Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop cost-effective solutions
• Conduct site visits and gather necessary information to accurately estimate project costs
• Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to determine project budgets
• Create and submit timely and competitive bids for construction projects
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Provide support and guidance to project teams regarding cost control measures

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ of experience estimating for commercial HVAC projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
• Knowledge of estimating software, strong computer skills including Microsoft 365 applications
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating project costs
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
