DWC Mechanical is expanding our Tampa operations and is looking to add Commercial HVAC Installers due to continued growth and an increasing project backlog.

Responsibilities

• Installation of new equipment
• Installation of ductwork
• Installation of gas lines, drain lines, high and low voltage wires, etc
• Maintain an organized installation schedule
• Ensure that installation standards are met through accurate documentation and tracking
• Install service parts and components (e.g., ducts, coils, compressors, air filters, fans etc.)in accordance with local codes
• Run and work a job from start to finish
• Follow instructions from supervisor and carry out in timely manner.
• Supervise and be responsible for other installers
• Report problems with company tools or vehicle promptly.
• Work well with customers, co-workers and subcontractors
• Schedule inspections
• Work staggered or off shift schedule if required
• Maintain professional relationship with builders
• Always maintain professional appearance and attitude.
• Run a job without supervision
• Complete jobs within the labor budget
• Complete all necessary paperwork, job packets, change orders, timecards
• Complete T&M Sheets Properly

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role in the HVAC/R industry.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems design, installation techniques, and maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with tools used in the installation and repair of HVAC systems
• Possess the tools required for their level of experience
• Experience installing round and rectangular duct
• Able to measure ductwork and install all equipment accessories
• Ability to complete all necessary paperwork
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Certification or training in HVAC technology is a plus but not mandatory.

Desired Qualifications

• EPA 608 / OSHA 10 / MEWP
• HVAC related certifications or training
• Physical requirements

Physical Requirements

• Be able to Lift & Carry 100 pounds
• Perform Repetitive Bending, Twisting & Lifting
• Ability to work on feet for extended Period of time
• Climbing and working off ladders and Lifts

Work Environment

• Be prepared to perform work in both interior and exterior conditions
• Be prepared for extreme heat and cold conditions
• Construction site conditions are common
