• Hourly Rate: $30–$40/hour ($62,400–$83,200 annually)
• On-Call Pay: $150 for scheduled on-call duties

Your Role as a Commercial HVAC Technician in Shreveport, LA.

As a key member of our Shreveport, LA. team, you’ll provide top-notch service to local businesses, ensuring their HVAC and refrigeration systems run smoothly. Your responsibilities include:

• Performing maintenance, repairs, and equipment changeouts on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Servicing and installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, and ice machines
• Conducting preventative maintenance to minimize system downtime
• Troubleshooting and assessing commercial HVAC systems for optimal performance
• Responding to emergency service calls with professionalism
• Collaborating with our dispatch team to ensure seamless operations
• Maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety standards
• Working independently while delivering excellent customer service to Shreveport clients

Tools & Support Provided

• Fully stocked company service van

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Qualifications

• Experience: 3-6 years in commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Certifications: EPA Certification required; HVAC Journeyman license preferred
• Physical Requirements:
• Climb/descend ladders while carrying up to 30 lbs.
• Lift up to 75 lbs. and work in confined spaces (crawlspaces, attics)
• Wear required PPE

Additional Requirements:

• Flexibility for overtime and occasional travel for training or client needs
• Ability to pass drug, background, and driver’s license checks
• Meet enhanced security clearance requirements

Skills & Abilities

• Expertise in servicing, installing, and troubleshooting commercial HVAC/refrigeration systems
• Strong customer service and communication skills, tailored to Shreveport’s community
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
• Familiarity with light commercial equipment; industry software knowledge a plus
