Service Technicians safely and successfully maintain industrial heating and air conditioning systems. 

Typical Duties

• Maintain and repair air conditioning, heating and refrigeration (HVAC) equipment
• Inspect and check equipment for proper operating conditions, make necessary adjustments, replace defective breakers, controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, electrical wiring, etc. 
• Maintain and repair compressors, motors, pumps, blowers and fans as related to HVAC Systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment to the electronic control board level. 
• Experience with refrigeration, water systems and related equipment a plus.
• Keep required records and logs for such data as pressure, temperature, air flow and relative humidity. 
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain necessary safety related certifications. 

Qualifications

• EPA Certification for handling refrigerants.
• Must have minimum of 3 years experience repairing industrial heating and air condition systems.
• Experience and ability to understand, read and carry out oral and written instructions. 
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems in stressful situations. 
• Must have a good driving record to operate company vehicle
• Able to work afterhours, nights, and weekends if necessary and perform on-call duties.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Physical Requirements

• Stand/walk up to 8 hours per day
• Good vision (naturally or with correction)
• Good eye/hand coordination
• Good hand dexterity
• Lift, push, pull up to 75 pounds
• Carry 75 pounds short distances
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, turn, twist and bend repeatedly
• Work in/on tall structures (roofs / above ceilings and climb ladders and stairs
• Ability to perform in tight spaces
• Able to work in outdoor conditions during all seasons when applicable
