Experienced Commercial HVAC Installer

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Able to layout and install Sheetmetal and/or duct systems.
• Reads blueprints and interprets specifications.
• Installs hangars or supports for systems.
• Can assemble and install H.V.A.C equipment as necessary.
• Keeps equipment in good working order and insures proper and timely maintenance is performed on equipment
• Follows all OSHA standards for safety. Keeps work area clear of unnecessary clutter and performs routine clean-up as needed.
• Organizes work and utilizes preplanning such as the four weeks look ahead schedule.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience/Qualifications Required:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Sheetmetal/HVAC in field operations.
• Completion of Apprenticeship program preferred.

Job Skills:

• Ability to read blueprints
• Knowledge of general Sheetmetal/HVAC installation.
• Working knowledge of all hand and power tools.
• Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy and productivity.
• Strong math skills

   Education:

• High School or GED equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Eyesight correctable to 20/50
• Able to perform shift work
• Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Special Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License
• Journeyman’s license if required

Hourly pay range: $34.00 - $44.00 p/h
