Essential Duties

• Monitor HVAC Systems: Regularly inspect and monitor HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Respond to Service Calls: Address service requests and emergencies related to HVAC systems promptly and effectively.
• Perform Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of HVAC equipment, including heating and cooling units.
• Troubleshoot Issues: Diagnose and resolve HVAC system malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed on HVAC systems.
• Ensure Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance and safety in all operations.
• Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other maintenance staff and contractors to coordinate HVAC services and projects.
• Other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant HVAC Service Tech experience.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• EPA Universal license.

Required Skills:

• HVAC Unitary skills:
  • Split systems - all brands up to 25 tons
  • Mini-split system – up to 3 ton heat pump and all brands MultiZone
  • Roof top units – all brands up to 50 tons
  • Water source heat pumps – all brands up to 15 tons
  • Self-contained systems – water-cooled and air cooled with remote condenser and CRAC units – Leibert/Data-aire/Stultz
• HVAC Airside skills: 
  • Fan Powered Box
  • VAV Box
  • VFD Theory
• Air Handler:
  • Theory of AHU operation and Theory of control valve operation
• Exhaust fans:
  • Centrifugal Up blast Roof Fans and Centrifugal Inline Fan.
