Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated HVAC Apprentice Technician to join our Maui, team. This entry-level role is ideal for those eager to learn and grow in the HVAC industry. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, you’ll gain hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems (e.g., air conditioners, heat pumps).
- Perform basic diagnostics, such as checking pressures and temperatures, under supervision.
- Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in an organized manner.
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards.
- Provide professional customer service on-site.
- Document work and participate in training programs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn HVAC skills.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in various conditions (e.g., heat, confined spaces).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- EPA Section 608 certification is a plus (resources provided).
- Prior HVAC experience is a plus but not required.
- Competitive pay ($20.00 - $30.00/hour, DOE).
