About the Role

Join One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, a nationally recognized HVAC franchise, as a HVAC Service Manager.

We’re seeking a hands-on leader who can manage field operations today while growing into full operational ownership as the business expands, shaping a high-performing, people-focused team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all HVAC operations to ensure high-quality service, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Mentor, coach, and develop technicians, fostering career growth and a high-performing team
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate residential and light commercial HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance projects
  • Develop, implement, and refine operational processes and best practices to drive efficiency and consistency
  • Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards
  • Manage vendor relationships, equipment, and inventory to optimize resources and reduce costs
  •  Monitor key performance metrics including revenue per tech, call completion rates, and customer satisfaction scores 
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of service staff
  • Promote a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work culture aligned with company values
Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC operations, leadership, or management
  • Strong leadership mindset with a focus on coaching and developing teams
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of HVAC systems, installations, and service
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to quality and integrity
Nice to Have

  • Valid North Carolina HVAC License – Heating Group 3, Class I Contractor (qualifying the company for residential and light commercial work in Fuquay‑Varina)
What We’re Looking For

Required

  • 5+ years residential HVAC install and service experience
  • Comfortable leading installs and complex service calls
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Willing to be hands-on while managing operations
  • Organized, accountable, and coachable
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment
Preferred

  • Lead tech or supervisory experience
  • Experience with Service Titan
  • Interest in long-term leadership and ownership
