Job Description

Summary:

Join the team as a Senior HVAC/R Mechanic at an established company with 23 years experience spent building relationships with a solid customer base across various market sectors. Seeking a mechanic to play a crucial role in ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC systems across multiple locations while continuing to foster strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments to identify issues and implement effective solutions
  • Inspect HVAC equipment and components to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to schedule and prioritize service calls efficiently
  • Expertise in the use of specialized tools and equipment for accurate testing, measuring, and calibration tasks

Required Qualifications:

  • Universal License and EPA608 certification 
  • In-depth knowledge of light commercial, industrial HVAC systems as well as refrigeration equipment
  • Familiarity with advanced HVAC technologies and energy-efficient practices
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints effectively
  • Comfortable dealing directly with vendor technical support personnel
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and industry regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of NATE certification or equivalent advanced credentials
  • Familiarity with green HVAC initiatives and sustainable practices
