The ideal candidate will possess leadership ability on the job, have a strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Install HVAC equipment as “lead installer” in residential and light commercial settings
- Possess a minimum 5 years’ experience installing or equivalent expertise
- Build and install duct work, including light sheet metal fabrication
- Act as primary liaison between HVAC division manager and install techs/helpers
- Boiler install experience a plus, but not necessary
- Knowledge of Trane and Mitsu equipment a plus but not necessary
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Attend period, paid training and stay up to date with industry trends and developments
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical school training or apprenticeship in HVAC installation and repair
- Experience in HVAC installation and repair
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
