We are seeking a skilled Lead HVAC Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading crews and guiding others in the field. Field supervision, mentoring junior techs/apprentices, assigning or coordinating work, reviewing quality, assisting with difficult diagnostics, assisting with dispatch priorities, quality control, and training, and often supporting sales opportunities and customer escalations. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service to our customers. **Key Responsibilities:**-Lead crews and guide others in the field.- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating units, air conditioning units, and ventilation systems.- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems and provide effective solutions.- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure HVAC systems are operating efficiently and safely.- Replace or repair defective parts and components to restore system functionality.- Test electrical circuits and components for continuity and proper function.- Follow all safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.- Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with clients and addressing their concerns.- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in HVAC is preferred.- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician.-Must hold CT License- Valid HVAC technician license or certification.- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including both residential and commercial systems.- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Compensation: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
