Refrigeration Maintenance - Freezer - B Shift

Job Details:

Applicants will be considered for Roundsman/Engine Room Mechanic openings.  Team member will monitor, operate and repair air, water, and refrigeration systems. Team member is responsible for all maintenance for TCCS and PBX. Team member will be required to pass Hazmat physical and participate in Hazmat team and must be willing to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, lift, pull and reach.  This position will work in extremely hot and humid or extremely cold environments, both inside and outside the plant.

REQUIREMENTS:  Team member must be able to work well with other Departments.  Team member must be able to work any shift as needed.  Team member must have good communication skills, both oral and written.  Team member must show adequate progression in the Maintenance training program to achieve level 8 within 3 years of hire.  Candidates with 6 or more attendance points and/or any suspension discipline on file within the last 12 months both at the time of posting will not be considered. Available to bargaining unit team members only. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.

Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
