We are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Technician (Building Engineer Lead Analyst) to help keep our building systems running safely and efficiently. This role focuses on HVAC, refrigeration, and building automation systems (BMS). You will troubleshoot issues, complete repairs, and support a comfortable and safe work environment. You will also work closely with the team, vendors, and site leaders to maintain daily operations.
Monitor and manage building automation systems (BMS) for proper performance
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment
Work with BMS technicians to adjust and fix system issues
Inspect, maintain, and repair building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs)
Follow preventive maintenance plans to extend equipment life
Complete work orders and track repairs in the CMMS system
Estimate time and materials needed for repairs
Maintain parts inventory and order supplies as needed
Respond quickly to urgent or emergency issues
Support the supervisor with vendor and subcontractor coordination
Handle internal service requests and daily site needs
Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines
Help train and support team members
Build positive working relationships and communicate clearly
Associate degree or technical training, or equivalent work experience
Universal CFC certification required
5+ years of HVAC or refrigeration experience
Strong troubleshooting skills for complex systems and controls
Basic understanding of building systems and maintenance practices
Ability to read and understand manuals, drawings, and instructions
Familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Must complete OSHA 10 within 6 months of hire
Strong focus on safety for yourself and others
Good communication and teamwork skills
Able to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, climbing ladders)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM
Willing to work at multiple locations and be on call as needed
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
