RESPONSIBILITIES 

Fabrication

• Fabrication involves laying out, cutting, fitting, measuring, welding, and machining to create the desired shape or object per R.T. Moore quality standards
• Accurately read and interpret blueprints and engineering plans along with other data, such as work plans, to design welded and machined products
• Accurately check the measurements and dimensions of each piece being worked on
• Make templates for common work tasks when conducting repetitive motions for the fabrication process to ensure a set standard of work quality
• Write 3-axis CNC Programs

Inspect Work and Equipment

• Constantly inspect equipment
• Safely operate manual machine tools including CNC mill, manual lathe, tig & mig welder
• Evaluate finished products and perform quality checks on products

 QUALIFICATIONS 

• High school diploma or a GED equivalent
• Two or more years of welding experience preferred
• Two or more years of CNC experience preferred
• Welding experience
• Understanding of construction tasks and industrial processes
• Ability to comprehend blueprints and work specifications
• Proficient in operating heavy machinery
• Independent problem solver
• Must be honest, trustworthy and demonstrate sound work ethics
• Effective verbal and listening communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with team members to achieve shared departmental goals
• Mechanical and mathematical aptitude
• Basic hand tool/machine experience
• Detail Oriented
• Physical ability to lift at least 75 pounds or more 
• Must be able to do the following activities for most of the work day: stand, walk, use hands or fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, see, talk and hear
• Must be able to climb or balance regularly
• Near constant lifting or carrying of items of various weight, typically up to 10 pounds most of the day. Capable of lifting at least 100 pounds on occasion
• Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with the fingers and perceive attributes of objects and materials
• Primarily a physical position performing some strenuous daily activities of a physical nature
• Minimum travel

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 1st Shift

LOCATION: On-site Indianapolis facility 

SALARY:  $22-$32 hourly based on experience
