• Be capable of proficiently operating all equipment upon which specific training has been completed.
• Must be able to setup all equipment in the sheet metal department.
• Set up equipment for others when called upon.
• To be able to perform duties from details provided on Engineering drawings and PDF files, must be able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Work without supervision while maintaining an acceptable level of Quality
And productivity.
• Must be able to properly use measuring tools common to sheet metal department (ruler, caliper, tape measure, etc)
• When moving completed jobs to next operation such as Engraving, sanding studding make sure it has been completed according to all the directions provided. Inspect all jobs before moving it to next department.
• To maintain his/her own work area in a clean and safe professional condition.
• Follow company’s Safety rules and regulations.
• Report all equipment, quality, and safety problems to sheet metal foreman.
• Work without supervision while maintaining an acceptable level of quality and productivity.
• Assist working foreman
• Knowledge of bend allowance.
• To be capable of reading, receiving instructions and communicating in English.
• The employee is frequently required to stand; walk primarily on a level surface; sit; use hands and arms to write type and reach above shoulder heights, below the waist or lift as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. The employee must frequently lift 25-40 pounds and/or move up to 40 pounds (team lift).
Base Salary $25.48/hour / 52,998.40/year
The above represents the typical salary range for this position. Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities. Please note that the compensation listed reflects only base salary and does not include commissions or longer-term incentives.
Salary range may differ based on the final geographic location of the position.
