Job Summary:

Responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment in new construction residential homes following manufacturer specifications, industry codes and standards, and company requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

·        None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

·        Installation of ductwork in residential new construction homes.

·        Installation of HVAC equipment, thermostats, grilles, piping, and bath fans in new residential construction homes.

·        Maintain quality standards on all installations and tasks.

·        Always maintain safety standards.

·        Prepare operational reports.

·        Update job-related knowledge or skills.

·        Communicate with other personnel to discuss project details.

·        Must be willing to operate a company vehicle.

·        All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills/Abilities:

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·        Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

·        Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

·        A Valid Driver’s License and clean Motor Vehicle Report.

·        Skilled in the use of hand tools, testing equipment, and safe installation of new and replacement parts.

·        Must be self-motivated and driven to get the job done quickly and to the best of their ability.

·        Must possess hand tools and power tools to execute job duties.

·        Must complete tasks, as assigned, within the company’s standard timeframe.

·        Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.

·        Physical dexterity.

Education and Experience:

·        High school diploma or equivalent required. 

·        1 year of experience installing duct or equipment without assistance in residential homes.

Physical Requirements:

·        Must be able to lift up to 50 to 100 lbs. at times.
